Every cartoon you create gives you points. These points depend on the cartoon's popularity outside la Cartoonerie, and its success within la Cartoonerie.

CARTOON SCORE = 2 * (email entries + blog entries) + 1 * (cinema entries + moderated comments + votes)

Your popularity shows to what extent you are known outside of la Cartoonerie

The entries from a blog or an email count double ! It's good to know, don't you think ?

The popularity reflects the notoriety of your cartoon outside la Cartoonerie. It has to do with the number of times that your cartoon will be seen in an email that you will have sent via a form or via a blog. Each entry counts double, so it is worth the effort in order to obtain these points!

Your success is your popularity within the la Cartoonerie community

Attention : the entries are counted only one time a day per computer. This prevents cheating !

Success reflects the progression of a cartoon in the la Cartoonerie cinema. An entry in the cinema is worth 1 success point. Same thing when a cartooner votes for your cartoon, or when they post a comment and you moderate it (validate or reject). Attention! There are negative success points. If you do not follow the rules and one of your cartoons or comments is banned by the moderation team, you lose points.

Simply creating a cartoon is not enough. One must promote their cartoon afterwards. The more you promote your cartoon, the more well known it will become and more people will watch it and you will receive more points ! Logical, isn't it?
